After registering, students will join a waiting list. We’ll notify you when a lesson becomes available. Once confirmed, you’ll receive a starter email with a start date and guidance on sourcing an instrument.

If your child is interested in learning an instrument not offered at school, email us at music.service@trafford.gov.uk or you can sign up for lessons at our Music Centre in Sale where we offer a wider range of lessons after school and Saturdays.
Free Taster Group Lessons: Recorder & Clarinet
We’re excited to offer free group taster lessons for children interested in learning the Recorder or Clarinet.
How it works:
Register here and we’ll email you a confirmation with the lesson date.
Lessons take place during the school day. Our tutors will collect the children and guide them through an exploration of the instrument.
Children will get to try the instrument, watch a live demonstration, and ask any questions they may have.
All resources are provided – no need to bring anything!
After the lesson: We’ll follow up by email to ask if your child would like to join our waiting list for regular lessons. We’ll only add them with your consent.

Additional School Notes:
We offer both group and individual music lessons during the school day. If a group lesson cannot go ahead due to low enrolment, we’ll contact you to discuss alternative lesson options such as individual tuition.
Please note: Drum kit lessons are only available as individual lessons.
